Vivo V27 Pro, Vivo V27 Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Availability
Chinese tech giant Vivo on Wednesday announced the launch of two new V-series smartphones – Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27 in India. The newly launched Vivo V27 series features a curved 3D display and a premium Fluorite AG Glass back panel with color-changing technology.
In addition, the smartphones feature the flagship 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary custom rear sensor and the new Aura light technology.
Vivo V27 series: Price and colors
Both the smartphones are available in two colors – Magic Blue (color changing) and Noble Black. According to the company, the Vivo V27 Pro comes in three storage options starting at Rs 37,999 for 8GB + 128GB, Rs 39,999 for 8GB + 256GB and Rs 42,999 for 12GB + 256GB.
The smartphone is available for pre-order today from March 1, 2023 on Flipkart, the Vivo India online store and all partner retail stores. Consumers who pre-book the device through online channels can get a flat discount of Rs 3,000 (applicable at HDFC Bank, ICICI and Kotak Mahindra Bank), while consumers who pre-book the device offline can get up to INR 3,500 cashback with ICICI. Kotak and HDB financial services.
On the other hand, the Vivo V27 will be available for purchase from March 23, 2023 for Rs 32,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and Rs 36,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The company has also launched a new TWS — Vivo TWS Air. It is available for purchase at a price of Rs 3,999.
As part of the bundle offer, consumers buying the V27 series can get a discount of Rs 1,000, bringing the actual price to Rs 2,999.
“The Vivo V27 series opens up new possibilities for consumers by offering vivo’s most comprehensive smartphone camera experience yet, offering flagship MediaTek chipsets paired with a segment-best 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor with OIS,” Yogendra Sriramula, head of brand strategy, vivo India, said in a statement .
“Both smartphones bring a curved 3D display, unique Aura Light technology combined with the beloved color changing technology and other industry-leading technologies to meet the changing needs of consumers,” Sriramula added.
Vivo V27 Series: Specifications
Both Vivo V27 Pro and Vivo V27 bring a premium 6.78 3D Curved AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits.
Both devices feature an impressive triple camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The front of the device has a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus for video calls and selfies.
Vivo V27 Pro has MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Vivo V27, on the other hand, debuts with India’s first MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G processor, which also brings the latest flagship class 4nm chip technology with MediaTek’s HyperEngine 5.0 for impressive power efficiency.
Both V27 Pro and V27 are combined with LPDDR5 RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage, which guarantees a smooth multitasking experience. In addition, the smartphones are equipped with the industry-leading Extended RAM 3.0 technology, which increases the virtual RAM memory by up to 8 GB.
The Vivo V27 Pro and V27 have a 4,600 mAh battery combined with fast 66 W FlashCharge, which brings Vivo’s own dual-motor fast charging technology. Both smartphones run on Funtouch OS13, which is based on the latest Android 13 platform.
